FUNERAL ORATION (ITALY)

A Taranto Death Metal band formed in 1989, FUNERAL ORATION has only one surviving member from the original line-up, guitarist Luca being that man. Bassist Malfeitor Fabban is well known on the Italian scene as mentor behind the notorious Black Metal band ABOYRM and lead vocalist for Ambient Doom project VOID OF SILENCE. Having released two demos 'Domine A Morte' and 'XXX A.S. 1995 E.V.' and a 7" EP FUNERAL ORATION toured Italy extensively before line-up changes forced the group to adopt a slightly bizarre Black Metal direction in 1993.
